Storylang
Overview
Storylang is a web application born to enable language learning through AI-generated stories. This application was born out of my desire to learn Japanese using a personalized method of my own, rather than adapting to existing applications. Using the application is simple: depending on the language you wish to learn, you simply choose the type of story, the level of comprehension, the number of words and the language into which the story will be translated, and let the AI take care of generating the story. After that, all you have to do is read or listen to the audio of the story, trying to discover and retain new words or expressions.
Stack
As a technical stack for this project, I used the vue.js javascript framework combined with Nuxt and the Tailwindcss library to design my app. As for the backend, I preferred to stay in the javascript environment I'm used to, using the nodejs framework called Nestjs combined with a MongoDB database. But all the story creation was managed thanks to the integration of the OpenAi api
